I was travelling with a friend when we stopped for a short visit to Cape Range which ended up lasting three weeks.

During our stay, two other friends told us about the turtle hatching season! "WOW! Can we actually see BABY TURTLES?!" - being excited was an understatement. 

We slept near the beach and the following morning by 5.30am we were up. This was the path between our cars and what ended up being a beautiful 3 hour walk along the beach.

 . . . 

'So, did you see turtles hatching?' - you ask.

No. It turns out we were misinformed - it was actually turtle mating season. So yeah, you can imagine what kind of memories we collected from that 3 hour walk.
