It all started with a decision: I was living in & in love with the Australian west coast but I've always dreamt of knowing Tasmania as well. Before I got to Australia I only had two places marked on my map: Cape Range & Tasmania. I had just crossed out the first one on the list (which of course grew exponentially since I arrived) but I was still missing sweet 'Tassie'.
"If not now, when?"
So I booked the ferry and drove about 4000km in 12 days (it's funny that I'm writing this story while doing the exact same road trip but on the opposite direction!)

Elephant rocks was one of my first stops. I remember getting all emotional thinking "Gosh, I'm gonna miss this ocean". Spent hours sitting on one of those huge rocks, just letting the power of the Indian & the colours of the west sink in. It has been a year since I left and I can't explain you how happy I am knowing that I'm about to return :)
